Atelier Bow-Wow is a Tokyo-based firm founded in 1992. Their expertise covers diverse fields ranging from architectural design, public space design to urban research. The practice has designed and built houses, public and commercial buildings mainly in Tokyo, but  is also active in Europe and the USA.The concept of “architectural behaviorology” defines and distinguishes all of Atelier Bow-Wow’s works. Through their exploration of behaviors of natural elements such as light, air, heat, wind, water, human behavior and building behavior, the designers and researchers of Atelier Bow-Wow aim to synthesize and optimize their performance in a specific context.
